The Bankruptcy Administrator's Office approves credit counseling and debtor education providers. The list of the currently approved providers for the Eastern District of North Carolina are available here:
Applications for renewal must be submitted no later than 60 days prior to the expiration of the probationary period and each annual approval period thereafter.
An entity seeking to become an authorized credit counseling or debtor education provider in the Western District of North Carolina must go through an application process administered by the Bankruptcy Administrator.
