Attorneys Interested in Serving as Counsel for Unsecured Creditors' Committee in Chapter 11 Cases

Under Chapter 11 of the Bankruptcy Code, the top 7 unsecured creditors are given an opportunity to form an Unsecured Creditors' Committee.  This committee works for the benefit of all unsecured creditors in the case and has as its prinicpal responsibility the examination of the financial condition of the Debtor.  To aid in this role, the Code allows the Committee to hire professionals, if need be, at the expense of the Debtor.  The most common professional hired by a Committee is an attorney.  Below is a list of attorneys who have notified us that they are interested in serving in this capacity.  They are orgainzed by geographical area for your conveinence but most attorneys will work on cases throughout the District.  Inclusion or exculsion from this list is by no means an endorsement or rebute of an attorney.
